Bombay Sapphire challenged up-and-coming designers in more than 20 countries to create a cocktail glass inspired by the brand and I ran the Canadian activation of this design contest for two years. The programme required grassroots outreach to top design schools across the nation, website updates, curation of content, sourcing and onboarding of influencer judges, creation of bespoke glassware, photography and event logistics.

Pre-dating Instagram, I enjoyed working with Karim Rashid, one of Canada's most notable designers and seven other industry heavyweights to truly infiltrate grassroots communications and add significant weight to the quality of the programme, and thus the quantity of submissions. I also enjoyed worked closely with a glass artist to physically reproduce the top designs for display at a PR event with bespoke cocktails, created by top mixologists during the competition.
